View Full Version : Bears vs. Giants: In game thread. I Ate My Hamster 11-12-2006, 09:16 PM ... I Ate My Hamster 11-12-2006, 09:17 PM Bears should be favored in this game. But I see alot of sites calling this a pickem. Eulogy 11-12-2006, 09:23 PM after last week, they shouldn't be favored against anyone until Grossman proves himself again. Eulogy 11-12-2006, 09:25 PM wtf I Ate My Hamster 11-12-2006, 09:28 PM What a waste. wally 11-12-2006, 09:31 PM INT for grossman. Fuck him. Eulogy 11-12-2006, 09:34 PM can you really blame him for that one though? eh. Andy / 11-12-2006, 09:35 PM GIVE IT TO FUCKING TIKI GOD DAMMIT. JUST ONCE. sppunk 11-12-2006, 09:36 PM I hope the Giants win by 200, and Grossman gets knocked out on the next possession. I Ate My Hamster 11-12-2006, 09:36 PM GIVE IT TO FUCKING TIKI GOD DAMMIT. JUST ONCE. There is no reason too. Why waste him by banging him at the line on short yardage. We got a 270 lbs beast to do that for us. wally 11-12-2006, 09:37 PM Grossman has the arm to be a fucking stud. Unfortunately he's only 5'2" Andy / 11-12-2006, 09:37 PM Because I need 6 points, that's all. I'd rather watch the game without worrying whether he'll get enough yardage. Nimrod's Son 11-12-2006, 10:20 PM Tiki doesn't get the ball at the goal line. Unfortunately that dick Coughlin thinks more about winning the game than fantasy points neopryn 11-12-2006, 10:22 PM go steelers Andy / 11-12-2006, 10:26 PM WTF, I know that guys. But I don't have Jacobs on this particular team. I was just expressing frustration. Andy / 11-12-2006, 10:27 PM This game has been pretty bad. Neither team has looked as strong as they should. neopryn 11-12-2006, 10:30 PM go steelers as much of a disaster as this season has been, i take solace in watching the bengals suck hard too. ReadMusic 11-12-2006, 10:45 PM this game sucks. Nimrod's Son 11-12-2006, 10:48 PM rex grossman sucks. and for anyone who says this game sucks, take a look at the weather conditions.. it's pouring rain and windy as hell Eulogy 11-12-2006, 10:49 PM I don't understand why he looked so good at the beginning of the season. it's baffling. ReadMusic 11-12-2006, 10:49 PM it's football. Nimrod's Son 11-12-2006, 10:51 PM it's football. Yes, but those conditions lead to low scoring games with turnovers neopryn 11-12-2006, 10:52 PM I don't understand why he looked so good at the beginning of the season. it's baffling.playing san francisco and green bay neopryn 11-12-2006, 10:52 PM i wonder if they'll stop running that commercial where muhsin muhammad votes for him in the pro bowl ReadMusic 11-12-2006, 10:52 PM shouldn't be so boring though. i've seen plenty of great games played in bad weather. ReadMusic 11-12-2006, 11:13 PM i'm not sure how getting points for defense/special teams goes but i hope the bears don't get more than three. Andy / 11-13-2006, 12:10 AM Unbelievable. Eulogy 11-13-2006, 12:12 AM awesome. Eulogy 11-13-2006, 12:12 AM playing san francisco and green bay SF was after Arizona. I count that as his shit play. and I missed the third quarter, but his numbers look decent. I'maskingforit! 11-13-2006, 12:15 AM DA BEARS. cold chicago wind in new york motherfuckers. Ever 11-13-2006, 01:49 AM So how about them patriots loosing to the jets? God I hope jets get the AFC east title or atleast the wild card. Although I'm expecting my tone to change after the bears hand our ass to us next week. Orenthal James 11-13-2006, 02:13 AM so eulogy continues to show that he knows fuck all about sports. well played sir. Eulogy 11-13-2006, 02:28 AM so eulogy continues to show that he knows fuck all about sports. well played sir. explain. Orenthal James 11-13-2006, 02:35 AM after last week, they shouldn't be favored against anyone until Grossman proves himself again. Arkansas (this is not the same team that got thumped by USC. if they played again, roles would be reversed.) 4. Florida (not looking great. but who is?) 5. Notre Dame 6. Rutgers (holy shit) 7. USC 8. LSU 9. Louisville 10. Texas 11. West Virginia 12. Auburn 13. Cal 14. Oklahoma 15. Wake Forest 16. Georgia Tech 17. Virgina Tech 18. Boston College 19. Maryland (5 ACC teams in a row? wtf?) 20. Tennessee 21. Nebraska 22. Boise St. 23. Hawaii 24. BYU 25. Clemson that was hard. LOL Something needs to be said for winning the games you should win. Your backup quarterback is not bad enough to single-handedly lose a game. That was a team effort, for sure. its like you waited until one day where you could spout your most retarded thoughts. its pretty much awesome. congrats, dude. Eulogy 11-13-2006, 02:38 AM Nothing i said about Grossman was stupid. His numbers up until Arizona were good. AZ was shit, SF shouldn't even count, Miami was shit, and the first 12 pass attempts tonight were shit. that all fits with what I said. There's nothing glaringly wrong with my top 25 either. Please, point out the horrible inaccuracies, because I sure as shit don't see any. It's not like I'm the only person in the country with ND at #5. And Texas looked god-awful against KSU. what the fuck are you talking about? Trotskilicious 11-13-2006, 08:49 AM So Wayne, do you think the G-Men got the better end of the Manning/Rivers trade? I'm starting to wonder. KrazeeStacee 11-13-2006, 03:33 PM I never cheered for a football game until last night. Tchocky 11-13-2006, 03:38 PM Colin Cowherd needs to give the Bears credit already. Who the hell else is gonna win the crappy NFC? Trotskilicious 11-13-2006, 03:47 PM Colin Cowherd needs to give the Bears credit already. Who the hell else is gonna win the crappy NFC? The 11-5 San Francisco 49ers, man. Nimrod's Son 11-13-2006, 05:22 PM So Wayne, do you think the G-Men got the better end of the Manning/Rivers trade? I'm starting to wonder. I do. I really blame last night's loss by the Giants on the injuries finally catching up with them in the second half. I don't think the result would have been the same if they hadn't lost Umeniyora, Toomer, Strahan, Arrington et al in the past few weeks. You can't just lose that many guys at once and expect not to miss a step. Mo 11-13-2006, 05:51 PM That game was the first one that I watched live on television (Austria's ORF1 is broadcasting some NBC Sunday Night Games live with the option to switch to the original commentary). I fell asleep after about twenty minutes because it aired at 02:xx am CET, but it was fun nonetheless. Too bad I don't know any American Footbal rules. The referee actually throwing a yellow flag in the air was quite a laugh, though. DeadOpera 11-13-2006, 06:13 PM yeah the bears smoked those giants in the second half. really good half compared to the first (which was more defensive for both teams and why there wasn't much scoring for you losers who think it was boring game.) |
