yes, ID is CR 02. I won it for like $32.00. there were other promo tapes and cd's from the same guy on there. i'm suprised it didn't get more bids.

and what's so weird about CR 02? what if machina 2 was never released? you would have found the cassette id just normal?

yes, on eBay. I have the link saved at home for the auction that already ended. I will post it later tonight. I saw it over the weekend, and could have won it, but as I said...i was in a rush and thought it was another 12" test press/wlp. In reality, it was an honest-to-goodness 10" test press. :dammit:

doubtful...since CR stands for Constantinople Records....and Machina II and Live at Cabaret Metro 10-5-88 were the only releases on CR, hence the sequential numbers.

I personally think its just a weird coincidence. CR 02 from Halo probably means "cassette recording #2" or somethign obvious like that. Still gets me wondering what CR 01 was though... :think:

I have one. I also have the light into dark test pressing as it happens.

I know in theory every record will have at least 1 test press, but at least for Light into Dark I heard of a few other people having them (you, Shawn Turner, etc.).

Do you have the test sheet with the I Am One 10"? The one on ebay I will be posting the link to later had one with it. I know these are not a constant. The only "test sheet" i have if with my today 12" test press.

CR 02 has to do with the type of tape it is... it's not an ID.

yes, disarm and today wlp's both typically come in blue hut covers...i am one, peel sessions and cherub rock usually come in black hut covers....but i don't think its set in stone. all of the above could probably come in blue or black.
