Dando "shocked" by heckler

OXFORD: Evan Dando, frontman of American group The Lemonheads, has expressed confusion as to the motivation behind an apparently-unprovoked verbal attack.
The alleged outburst occurred in a University of Oxford auditorium at approximately 4pm Tuesday, during a Lemonheads rehearsal.
"I can't get my head around it. We were running through a song, and then this psycho-looking guy just appears out of nowhere. He yelled something and fled," said Dando via press release. "Everyone was shocked. Maybe he's just some jerk, but for all I know he could mean us serious harm. We ended the soundcheck immediately."
At time of writing it is unknown whether The Lemonheads gave their scheduled evening performance, or whether it was postponed for security reasons. Through a spokesman, the University of Oxford announced that it was giving the matter its undivided attention and that local law enforcement had been alerted.
