they took all the life out of it. it used to be anthemaic. simple and powerful. now it's sapped of its momentum, and layered with too many guitars. and why did they change "and a diamond dream" to "diamonds that can sing?" it was beautiful before, and now it doesn't make any sense.

on the other hand, i really like what's been done for of a broken heart, ride a black swan, el sol, and lyric. the harmonica idea in come with me is fantastic, and the solo at the end of settle down is jaw-dropping.

lastly, is desire supposed to be a joke? it sounds like a parody ballad. like a disney song.

I like the album version of Yeah too but I must admit that the live version has a bit more kick to it.

I think the album could live without Desire, Yeah, and Settle Down.

But, yeah, it's fiiine.

Desire is tied with Jesus/MSOTS for my favorite track, so I will repeat the sentiment, FU!
