It's all pretty much a crapshoot this season Julio. Nobody truly knows among the bubble teams who is going to step up and who isn't. The kings aquisition of Cloutier gives them a goalie who will give them a chance to win most nights, but he won't be stealing any games for them in this season and he quite possibly will get injured or be overplayed and start laying eggs. He'll definatley win some fights should the oppurtinity arise of course. I can't even think of who all is on the Kings team. So many bloody changes league wide in the off season. The West is pretty stacked this year, so I'd say they're a bit of a longshot to make the playoffs.

Sakic is still with the Avs, Shanahan with the Wings, Zubov on the Stars, and Leclair on the Pens (along with Recchi)

All those guys are still in and going strong. Sakic is 10 pts away from 1500, Shanny got his 600th goal with the Rangers today, Zubov is still with Dallas, and Leclair to my knowledge is still playing (or is he). Yzerman, Hull, Mcinnis and plenty of others are gone though.
