I only caught 1/2 to 3/4 of it.

Same here. Some of the words I just completely didn't recognize. It almost sounded like one of those odd dialects that is a combination of Spanish and something else (like suggested in the above post).

um...ok it's not portuguese it's straight out spanish, or in formal terms "castellano" (which, is btw, the correct term for that language)

she said this
me gusta....todos saben que me gusta hacer en mi propio tiempo, pero es una cosa que solo yo puedo decir....
pero como nadie sabe lo que estoy diciendo...entonces puedo a lo mejor decirlo pero....
me gusta estar en la cama, sola, a veces, y a veces no, mmm, me gusta porno...ummm....me gusta cosas sexuales, me gusta mirar el cielo..me gusta ......

which means:

i like.....everyone knows what i like to do in my spare time, but it's something only i can say...but since no one is understanding what i'm saying....that way i can say it better...but....
i like being in imy bed, alone, sometimes, and sometimes no...mmm..i like porn...mmmmmm..i like sexual things, i like looking at the sky....i like...

ok :) there you guys go
it's word by word, i am watching the dvd as i type

i think youre confusing castellano with catalan

you also have to realize she's from argentina....and words such as "yo" which means "I", are pronounced with a "shhh"....so it'll sound kinda like "shhho".

um ok

spanish:
"es que puedo hablar en ingles, pero no se porque pero esta vez no estoy hablando en ingles, estoy hablando en castellano, pero cuando me hacen preguntas lo tengo que decir en castellano, no se porque todo me sale en castellano..umm..y cuando yo, cuando yo, quiero hablr en ingles, pero me sale en castellano...mira...hola...ves?..yo quiero decir en ingles pero me sale en castellano...otra vez.....chao...ves?..no se...chao.....adios..."

which means:
"i can speak in english, but i don't why this time i am not speaking in english, i am speaking spanish, but when they ask me questions i have to say it in spanish, i don;t know why everything comes out in spanish..mmmm...and when i, when i, want to speak in english, but it comes out in spanish....take a look....hello...see?......once more.....bye...see?....i don't know.....bye.....goodbye"

um ok

yeah castellano is the 'original' spanish, and is now spoken mainly in Madrid and central Spain. Other dialects (like catalan in most of eastern spain) have taken over in other regions. yeah paz definitely has the argentinian shhhh.

And is it just me or is Paz 10 times hotter now that we've heard the way she speaks spanish? Sexy voice + spanish; you can't go wrong there.

mmmm....not exactly.....castellano = spanish....it's the correct and formal way of calling the language.....so it's spoken in every country that speaks spanish, since it's spanish, it's just different words....does that make sense?

no but Madrid has a specific dialect- what is the name of it? i thought it was castellano.....yeah i had a spanish phonetics class and that's what they taught us.

yeah and it also helps if you're HOT and you speak Spanish. spanish just flows, and when you couple it with the spanish woman (stereotypical) attitude, it's that much HOTTER.

hmmi really don't know if Madrid has a dialect...i doubt it......but Catalan, you are correct...it's a dialect...but Castellano is the actual language

i guess since i'm so used to speaking spanish...that's why it seems weird when people think its hot or sexy
