about the cherub rock wlp: mine has a foldover paper insert of the regular cover i n c l u d e d with the hut sleeve. Does anyone else have any wlp's with a similar insert?

nope, just a regular colour foldover of the cover. it's the only wlp i have that has it. was wondering if they all did at some point, i guess most of them were damaged/lost.

mine isn't black and white either.

it's like a test pressing for the cover. but not finished: they didn't fold and glue it into a finished sleeve. so the foldover is bigger than the regular sleeve.

do i make sense?

on closer inspection, i noticed how the peel sessions foldover front picture does not perfectly match the sleeve front picture. on the final sleeve, the picture is moved more to the right. the very right part is cut off. nothing too spectacular, but it shows someone changed his mind before it was finally released.

i compared mine to the regular one. It actually isn't a foldover, but a full sleeve that sits inside the hut promo sleeve. Everything is identical, but the promo one is made of thinner paper, not carboard.

interesting, i have never seen either like that (foldover or flimsy version). bram can you take a quick pic of yours?

my peel sessions, i am one, disarm, today, and 1 of my cherub rock wlp's are all in hut sleeves. my disarm one has a b&w insert of the smile face, but on a large 12" piece of paper insert. i supose it could be home-made.

other than that, both my today wlp and i am one wlp have the test results sheet inserted. my other cherub rock 12" is just in a plain cardboard sleeve, but probably b/c the previous owner swapped sleeves.

my promo foldover sleeve also isn't made of the same material as the regular sleeve. and it isn't really that much bigger than the regular sleeve (not big enough to glue a real sleeve out of it, i was wrong about this), but it wouldn't fit inside the generic hut sleeve.

i haven't been to reckless for years. i think i got my first caroline copy of lull there....back in the day. as well as gish on cd, in those old long-boxes (had it on tape originaly...untill the tape literally snapped).

also, thanks for posting the pics bram. i wonder what the origin of that cover truly is? :think:
