i attended this show, it was a one day festival named "stockholm calling". never heard of a tv broadcast, but it could be.
never saw it on the hub either. i know billy sat down in the grass during the placebo concert, giving a few autographs and then leaving. the only time i saw zwan, it was a bit too much jamming...

Morrison was a straight-up asshole. Why people continue to build this guy up, I'll never know.

"Break on Through" is simplistic BS, "Touch Me" and "Love Me Two Times" are laughable.

Morrison's lyrics are weak in general. Pretty much nothing but hot air. There is a lot of pretension that convinces people that his words are deep and meaningful.

I do like "The End" but that's more to do with The fantastic usage of the song in "Apocalypse Now" .

nobody is building Morrison up in this thread, or praising his lyrics.

Are you also going to say Satisfaction, Louie Louie, and You Really Got Me are also terrible songs, then?

have you ever heard

When The Musics Over
Celebration Of The Lizard
Backdoor Man
Five To One
The Unknown Soldier
Soul Kitchen
The Soft Parade
L.A. Woman
Light My Fire
Spanish Caravan
Ship Of Fools
The Spy
The Changeling

Yeah, I probably should have answered your question with a smarmy one liner instead of what I wrote.

What the heck do The Rolling Stones, The Kingsmen, and The Kinks have to do with this?

Out of the songs you listed, I'm familiar with:

When The Musics Over
The Unknown Soldier
L.A. Woman
Five To One
Light My Fire
Spanish Caravan

Out of those, the only one I can say I kind of like is "The Unknown soldier" The rest range from mediocre to bad.

I was talking about the simplistic thing. But whatever, I guess they just aren't the band for you....

The Doors fucking suck.

For a band that suck, they sure have sold alot of records.
What you mean is - you think The Doors fucking suck. If you stopped sucking for a moment and listened to them then maybe you would realise this. Have a pleasant day.

btw I dont know anything about the Zwan recording - this is because I also suck.

LOL, that argument is always a winner... Judging how good a band is by how many records they've sold. Have you even read this thread? I'm familiar with plenty of songs from this lame band.

I'm tired of this crappy argument, time to let it go...

Its sorta different when the band is still selling records 40/50 years later arsewipe. btw I love your arguement that "Hello I Love You" is the worst song known to mankind - your reasons for this astound me.

Damn, you're clueless.

the Doors were not around 50 years ago. Way to exaggerate.

And I haven't presented an argument or any reasons why I loathe " Hello I love you".

I'm done with you, chump.

The TV broadcast is 2 songs with an interview, but I dunno which song. I seem to remember Honestly. I'd have to dig out the DVD and I'm too lazy. The same DVD has 2 songs and an interview from Placebo and the Cardigans.
