I go every Sunday just because my parents always took me when I was little so it's like bred into me to go. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't

I haven't really gone much since Easter.. but that's because they canceled their 5:30pm mass when school let out (it was the student mass, I go to the church right by the university), but it's supposed to start back up today so I'm going to try to make it.

Sunday's my only day off, I just couldn't make it to the 8 or 11am masses.

Raised Catholic, went to a Catholic school for 9 years. My parents were never big in the whole church thing, though. We used to go every Sunday when I was little, but eventually we just stopped going. We go on Christmas and Easter. My mom doesn't eat meat on Fridays.

JokeyLoki

i was baptized catholic... not by choice.

I'm agnostic, but i've read up on buddhism... it seems like a very practical religion... but at this point in my life, i don't want any religious attachment.

I'm Catholic. I used to go every Sunday up until college and then my church-going became more sporadic. We now live across the street from a Catholic church, so I need to check into what times mass are there and whatnot.

i was baptized and raised catholic but i don't know if i'm fully confirmed. halfway through my confirmation ceremony i had a really awful bowel movement so i spent the rest of the time in the bathroom. i'm glad that happened. i went to church every sunday until i was 16 or 17, and i haven't gone since

i have been in catholic school since pre-school. i always went to mass because i didn't want to disappoint my parents. but i slacked off huge over the summer, and i don't know if i'm going to go while at college.

they have mass in my dorm every sunday at 10 p.m. so there's really no reason for me not to go. except of course that i don't really want to.

Born and raised. Sent to Catholic school also. Stopped going to mass when I was a kid, except on Holy Days, when my class got dragged to Church. My major problem with Catholicism was the boring sermons and uninspiring Priests. I still kinda believe deep down, but the whole edifice of organized religion is a turn-off to me. Gibson's film 'Passion of the Christ', for example failed to resonate on any level - the guilt/sin element present in Catholicism never made sense to me.

Catholics love to mourn their religion... that is what put me off it.
