Last week's #1, Norah Jones, sold 110,000 copies. Machina sold like 265,000 if I remember correctly first week. If even half the people who bought Machina buys MSOTS, it'll be #1 since there's no other big release this week.

I mentioned this on the z-board but hey look it's here too.

Zwan's debuting at number 8 on the top 20 at my store; there is nothing else new out, but there are a lot of things selling solidly (Avril, Good Charlotte, Norah, Chicago ST, 8 Mile, etc.). So I guess we'll see.

Who the hell is Norah Jones?

An extremely popular jazz vocalist. It's because of her & the Chicago OST that I'm assuming all the teenie boppers magically turned into 50 year old women.

I think it will be in the top 5.

I think top ten, possibly top 5. There isn't much new competition this week but who knows who could suddenly start selling. As much as I would love to see them number one, I don't think it is going to happen.

like it was said about the norah jones album, i think because of Zwan' s dedicated following, Zwan has a great chance of opening at number 1

i don't know what it will debut at, but however high it does, it's not gonna stay there for long. it'll drop and fast.

While I'm quite anti-MP3, I think it's more the effect of the album being out for over a year now.

At first I was thinking around 25, but with those stats I'm going with 2.
