I'm really into the stigmata soundtrack at the moment and I was wondering if there's more music out there like that. Thus far I really like Massive Attack, NIN (still-cd), Bjork etc. Anyone have any good tips

But seriously, check out The Books and Boards Of Canada.

Aphex Twin is kind of obligatory listening, too.

try luke vibert, plaid, amon tobin, μ-ziq.
if you feel like having a real headfuck then venetian snares. or squarepusher if you like jazz + headfuck.
more hip-hop : dj shadow, rjd2

i'll try to think of something resembling stigmata..

"Boards of Canada" , then "Books" two different bands.
Boards of Canada is to the electronic scene as Metallica was to metal in the 80's.

is it just windows built in firewall (assuming you're on windows) or have you installed a different firewall?

franzel
06-16-2006, 02:12 PM
I have no idea if it's even my firewall tho, i just said that because i think the word sounds really interessting! A friend of mine said it had something to do with my Norton security system or something. He fixed it but then the next day it was broke again :banoonoo:

ChristHimself!
06-16-2006, 02:14 PM

Ok, thanks for all the help you guys. I've checked out a lot of new music but there's nothing that has really impressed me that much. Kinda weird that someone like Billy, who is basically 'rock 'n roll', makes the best electronic music out there... right?

I'm still hoping someone here will prove me wrong!
