View Full Version : in this thread i make a prediction about the near future.
spa ced 06-01-2006, 10:23 AM i had a dream in which i read a newspaper article that stated that christina aguilera had accidentally died on the set of a "porno" movie shoot. i'm just posting this here because in case it does happen i want it to be some sort of validation that i foresaw this. if not..then it doesn't matter and i'm a fool.
oh and interestingly enough, i tried looking up what christina aguilera is up to these days and this article was placed online today:
Raunchy popstar to strip in movie
Thursday June 1 2006 01:05 IST
ANI
LONDON: Legendary burlesque stripper Tempest Storm is angry over Hollywood bosses' plans to make a movie on her without her permission.
Though the 78-year-old retired dancer has no doubts Christina Aguilera would be perfect for the part, she insists she has not been approached by studio chiefs and still has the rights to her life story and autobiography "The Lady Is A Vamp".
"They don't have the rights to my life story and I'm still alive," The Sun quoted the legend who ruled over the world of burlesque for five decades, as saying.
"I don't think they'd make an unauthorised movie. I own the rights to my life story and my book," she added.
Last month the raunchy pop star said she likes to get naked and feels uncomfortable covering up her body.

if christina aquilera does die - i'm sending her estate this link and the feds will come get you tony!
i predict that she sprains her ankle during filming and you consequently declare your vision validated.
Aeroplane 06-01-2006, 11:00 AM tony, were you an indigo child?

I finally saw this bit on conan the other day with Gob from Arrested Development doing it.
It was pretty lame except the joke about how White Castles would cut out the middle man and start shredding burgers themselves and throwing them into toilets. I sure I ruined the joke but it was funny.

Michael Jackson will invent a time machine, so he can travel back to 1970 and cuddle himself.
spa ced 06-01-2006, 12:12 PM tony, were you an indigo child?
it's funny that you ask that. i remember when i was a child telling my older sister that i thought i was someone important or a king of some kind in a past life and my sister basically scoffed at me and made me feel stupid. when you look at the criteria for what makes someone an indigo child the very first trait talks about having a sense of royalty.
who knows...i don't know if i am or if i'm not....dunno.

Nimrod's Son 06-01-2006, 12:25 PM tony, were you an indigo child?
No, he wasn't, because "indigo children" are a bunch of hooey made up to sell books
spa ced 06-01-2006, 12:27 PM No, he wasn't, because "indigo children" are a bunch of hooey made up to sell books
And you know the truth about everything? I'm not saying that the theory is true...but you don't know for a fact that it's false either.
Nimrod's Son 06-01-2006, 12:28 PM haha
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo_child
The indigo child concept was first publicised by the book The Indigo Children, written by the husband and wife team of Lee Carroll and Jan Tober1. Carroll insists that the concept was obtained via conversations with a spiritual entity known as "Kryon".
Carroll describes himself as a channeller for Kryon, an angelic being. One of the book's six chapters focuses on the spiritual aspects of claimed indigos. Some followers take the stance that the arrival of these children is wholly a spiritual phenomenon, and that indigo children are the beginning of a new hybrid, possibly alien.
that's tom cruise crazy right there
Fathoms (unadored) 06-01-2006, 12:31 PM A few years ago I had some lady, who is deeply entrenched in the "new age" movement, enthusiastically diagnose me as an Indigo Kid. This was before I told her about the dream I had as a thirteen year old where I experienced intense feelings of bliss and that "children" and the color "indigo" were the dominant features of the landscape. Course, it's all justa silly coincidence. Life doesn't require pie-in-the-sky lables and superficial concepts to be interesting, or meaningful. Nimrod's Son is probably correct. Spirituality is big business.

Aren't you a Christian? Your theories could be just as crazy as the Scientologist's claims. No one knows the ultimate truth about anything.
Nimrod's Son 06-01-2006, 12:36 PM And you know the truth about everything? I'm not saying that the theory is true...but you don't know for a fact that it's false either.
Homer: Not a bear in sight. This "Bear Patrol" is working like a charm!
Lisa: That's specious reasoning, Dad.
Homer: [uncomprehendingly] Thanks, honey.
Lisa: By your logic, I could claim that this rock keeps tigers away.
Homer: Hmm. How does it work?
Lisa: It doesn't work; it's just a stupid rock!
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: But I don't see any tigers around, do you?
Homer: (pause) Lisa, I want to buy your rock.
No, he wasn't, because "indigo children" are a bunch of hooey made up to sell books
that's just a lie made up to sell ritalin.
spa ced 06-01-2006, 12:53 PM Way to skirt around the issue Nimrod. You still didn't answer my question. What makes Christianity any more valid than Scientology?
spa ced 06-01-2006, 12:55 PM The only acceptable and correct answer to that question is that there is no conclusive evidence to support either religion as being true.
Jesus wasn't making any money.
spa ced 06-01-2006, 12:57 PM Jesus wasn't making any money.
And no one profits off bible sales? Of course they do. Don't be ridiculous.
Christianity was big way before even that Gutenberg guy came around.
Future Boy 06-01-2006, 01:02 PM Good luck getting a decent answer Tony.
spa ced 06-01-2006, 01:09 PM Good luck getting a decent answer Tony.
Thanks. I'll need it. Some people are just so ignorant to new and different ideas. If things don't fit into their tiny parameters of their beliefs on ultimate truth than they discredit it as being "crazy". Even when they find out old information was probably incorrect...they stubbornly refuse to update their viewpoints. Example: The Judas Gospel.

You shouldn't need a fucking reason, dipshit. The answer is pretty obvious. one is far more likely to be a scam perpetrated by a secretive organization founded by a science fiction writer who basically stated beforehand that he wanted to form a religion because of the money, and the other isn't. Did you know you can go to church for free? It's true

Listen you dense piece of shit...You can't prove any of the things Christians believe such as immaculate conception, the holy trinity, Jesus turning water into wine, Jesus making a few loaves of breads and a couple of fish feed hundreds of people..(South Park...Jesus: Turn Around...Turn Around...) anymore than Scientologists can prove any of the same things they believe. Just because Christianity is accepted by a vaster number of people than Scientology doesn't make it any more true, neanderthal motherfucker.

that's right son but Jesus walked everywhere

You still never answered my question. You wrote off Scientology as a profitable idea executed by a fiction writer. Okay so that discredits Scientology (possibly). You still didn't prove Christianity was at all true.

Where is your first post in this thread by the way? You didn't have the balls to keep it posted?
I already told you to avoid my threads if they don't interest you. You're as dense as fucking Nimrod. I don't give a shit about your opinion of me or my beliefs.

... and I did.

Don't do me any favors. Say what's really on your mind. I'm a big boy...I can take care of myself. It's funny to see people who have always seemed sort of gay friendly and non-homophobic always resort to using "faggot" when provoked by someone gay. I guess you find out someone's true colors (definitely not rainbow) in times of conflict.

Oh you're a big boy, but you cant take care of yourself, always looking for solace deluded new age ramblings.
I dont see anyone coming to your aid in this thread, you know why? Cos even the gays think you're being a faggot.

I don't need anyone to come to my aid. Being gay doesn't make us all have the same beliefs or personalities. Why should they defend me? I get along with all my fellow homos on this board and I like all of them and I think the feelings are mutual.
And yes I do believe in some new age concepts but my point is that they can be considered just as crazy as Scientology or Christianity because ultimately no one knows the ultimate truth about anything. People in glass houses (Nimrod) shouldn't throw stones.

What makes Christianity any more valid than Scientology?
nothing, they are synonymous.
I tend to thoroughly enjoy religious/spiritual/metaphysical debates/arguments, however this time I won't bother commenting personally, instead I will link to a summary of my opinions and beliefs.
If anyone wants to have a mature debate on the subject, I suggest starting a new thread. :smoke:

so what's your excuse for calling me an idiot? i don't live in any glass house!
Mablak 06-02-2006, 05:19 AM I've come to accept that you have to begin with making something up in order for there to be truth. But even if perhaps scientologists and myself differ fundamentally only because we assume different unprovable axioms, I WILL STILL NOT HESITATE TO KILL THEM COME THE DAY OF RECKONING
