The Smashing Pumpkins community is the most fucking hateful and stuck up band fanbase I know of. None of the other forums of bands I listen to are like this. To them it's all about the music, doesn't matter if it's on a cd, a dvd or on the internet in an mp3, shn, mpeg or whatever. This place is the pits. Thank you all. Goodnight.

It is really simple; if you can't buy it yet most people will let things like a leak of a commerical item be hosted all across the i-net and not complain about it. But the day after the release, if anyone ask for mp3s of MSOTS they will get raged on like you

As for the reporting to the RIAA/Virgin Recors/etc. That is hardly anything to worry about cause they will be nice and say "please take it down"

yeah, you shouldn't put the dvd rip up. AND the mp3's of MSOTS shoudn't be on ftp sites either.

People shouldn't be putting either up. It's moronic to say, "Oh MSOTS will be out in a week, then we will take down our MP3's." What about those that are going to DL the files and never buy the album?
