The new songs from the second copenhagen show. Just in case anyone wanted to hear them.
paranoid 05-08-2006, 03:34 PM wow... these songs are really fantastic... Arpeggi (full band version) is one of the greatest things I've heard them do in a long time.
Sounds like they're going the whole U2 Acthung Baby route.. Bangers and Mash sounds like it was lifted from that record.. pretty poppy sound stuff this time around.. but Radiohead of course.
I love what they did with big ideas (Nude). Sounds like it'll be a good record! Quite a few great songs... Lot of nice simple rockers too.
talk show host 05-08-2006, 10:51 PM Can you give the track list? I only got two names and the rest had random track numbers assigned to them. Sounds great so far
celluloid_love 05-08-2006, 11:24 PM where'd you hear the full band Arpeggi?
I've only heard the original one and the Koko one.
dean_r_koontz 05-08-2006, 11:36 PM man they need to add 400 layers of electronic mush before this can be anywhere near classic radiohead material. and thoms voice almost sounds human, i only like music that sounds like it's been made by cybernetically enhanced dolphins.

talk show host 05-09-2006, 03:59 AM Much obliged
ChristHimself! 05-09-2006, 07:02 AM I thought radiohead had given up on trying to sound like the pixies years ago
Rockin' Cherub 05-09-2006, 10:03 AM ha for sure, i even remember thom saying that on the pixies dvd
paranoid 05-09-2006, 10:24 AM well.. now it's only a matter of time before the majority of people find something rediculous to complain about.
So far the majority of the Radiohead fans have complained that the new tunes don't exhibit the "weird factor" that past radiohead songs are famous for. stupidest damn thing I've heard.
Radiohead trying to sound like the pixies is fine by me, damnit.
Arpeggi is great btw.
Rockin' Cherub 05-09-2006, 01:46 PM what the hell body snatchers is horrible
Rockin' Cherub 05-09-2006, 01:57 PM this sounds more ok computer than anything else. even bends-y.
I_was_aborted 05-09-2006, 04:38 PM I thought radiohead had given up on trying to sound like the pixies years ago
What, do you think they're tryin' to get back to their trash-rock roots? :noway:
Radiohead is way better than the Pixies....waaaay.
twice 05-09-2006, 08:25 PM i only like music that sounds like it's been made by cybernetically enhanced dolphins.
this was great
ChristHimself! 05-10-2006, 02:44 AM Radiohead is way better than the Pixies....waaaay.
Although they have a broader horizon regards musical genres, I don't think so personally, it's all down to taste at the end of the day. But Radiohead Vs Pixies depends on mood for me. But listen to spooks, it's blatant.
dEUS > Radiohead though. oooh!!
Jackbox 05-10-2006, 04:37 AM Well, that's probably why it's an instrumental and only like a minute long. I'm pretty sure they're just having fun at the moment.
ChristHimself! 05-10-2006, 04:42 AM Yes, it probably is. I just hope it doesn't end up on the album like that.
House of Bread 05-11-2006, 12:53 PM I'm liking these songs, no telling in how they'll end up sounding once they're recorded though.
murphy54 05-13-2006, 02:00 PM I like this songs too...RADIOHEAD RULES
patrick 05-13-2006, 08:30 PM I'm liking these songs, no telling in how they'll end up sounding once they're recorded though.

videotape.
beautiful song, sounds like a potential closer for the new album. could be the next motion picture soundtrack, and god that song is so beautiful.
Jackbox 05-23-2006, 12:27 PM I've been listening to videotape non stop for a while now. I'm really excited for this new album.
Azael 05-23-2006, 04:43 PM Videotape is like the two versions of Fog melded together, it's probably my current favourite.
GlasgowKiss 05-23-2006, 04:47 PM Im sick of thom yorke peddling his throttled singing schtick at every live fucking performance.
I mean honestly, just sing like you can.
