not really. this week at work is doomed to really really suck

I think I bombed during my interview. I'd be surprised if they called me. oh well, I'm still going to SF for a couple of days, which is cool.

I went for a walk in the rain and didn't die from kidney pain.

i hadn't left work before sundown in awhile; no way they can keep me in that place longer than five. i aint gettin no raises

for my dad's 50th birthday i bought him a bottle of 15 y/o single malt whisky. for a guy known for unenthusiastic responses to gifts (despite never giving suggestions or exhibiting any strong passions about anything remotely affordable) he seemed pretty happy, so i'm counting this as a win. and considering ordering some for myself...

i think i might finish work early today and start early tomorrow. i'm not feelin' the love. i'm inordinately happy that i am able to do this
