Karl Connor 03-29-2006, 07:34 PM i accidently clicked on this on my bookmarks, and came up with this gem. its a funny read, especially when liquid-j gets in the mix

Axis of Action 03-29-2006, 07:47 PM haha oh man, the WSY invasion. I completely forgot what my handle was in all that
wHATcOLOR 03-29-2006, 07:49 PM ahh, that was a fun board. you don't have the bukkake dirtbike thread, do you?
Karl Connor 03-29-2006, 07:54 PM unfortunately no. :<d>(
i'm going to see if i can re-register there whenever i get the chance. maybe they let their guard down now that our taste is out of their mouths (i'd assume)
neopryn 03-29-2006, 08:19 PM remember when someone made a "now" thread and one of the categories was "now felching" and pastor craig asked what felching was?
ah youth.

Sonic Johnny 03-29-2006, 09:05 PM i reckons we should do a sublte, 3-month long invasion, gaining their trust, then climaxing in a 3-hour goatse-and-swearing firestorm.
alisonmonster 03-30-2006, 12:42 AM this doesnt have much to do with pastor craig fiasco but speaking of memories.. i was trying to sleep last night and was watching muchmore retro and they apparantly consider 'Disarm' retro (which just makes me feel old). And then they were playing all these videos from around the same time period- 'Don't Cry' , 'No Rain' , 'First Day of Spring' by the Ghandarvas and i had such a strong flashback to grade 9/10 in highschool, it was sort of overwhelming like i was 15 again watching those videos. Anyway. It made me feel terribly nostalgic and overly sentimental and i'm wondering if i'll always think of the bee girl from Blind Melon as some sort of lame sentimental symbol when im 60 or somthing.
Karl Connor 03-30-2006, 12:47 AM thinking about the grunge era makes me want to slit my wrists
because it makes me feel so goddamn old
Fonzie 03-30-2006, 12:48 AM Grunge wear is coming back.
Fonzie 03-30-2006, 12:49 AM I got my tartan docs out ready to ROCK.
Fonzie 03-30-2006, 12:49 AM I'm going to wear all my old t-shirts. Like my 93 GnR tour shirt.
Karl Connor 03-30-2006, 12:50 AM the flannel shirt unbuttoned with a t-shirt underneath (preferably metallica)?
ugh. not again.
alisonmonster 03-30-2006, 12:50 AM watching it unfold on 'retro' with axl and his bike shorts makes me feel old. I listen to classic rock stations if im in a car and they always play Nirvana.
edit: i did the rock shirt under plaid thing. Even worse, it was a girl plaid shirt (pink and purple). I have the pic of me wearing the shirt in grade 9 with a bowl haircut. Makes you wanna retch.
Karl Connor 03-30-2006, 12:51 AM wait. oh not in america.
here everybody's turning metrosexual or something
alisonmonster 03-30-2006, 12:53 AM I got my tartan docs out ready to ROCK.
the cool kids in highschool went on the band trip to england and bought those- my friend even had a lace pair.
Fonzie 03-30-2006, 12:59 AM I actually wear them on the odd occasion, because I'm super cool and that.
I do admit they look a bit like slippers under jeans, though...
Fonzie 03-30-2006, 01:01 AM actually, at the moment I'm listening to SP 2000/05/13 -Houston, TX - I haven't listenid to any live pumpkins for ages, but this totally shreds!

I do appreciate it Sam.
Just make sure your focus is on Christ though. Craig will fail you eventually; Christ will never fail you.

Nothing/everything 03-30-2006, 10:25 AM ahh, that was a fun board. you don't have the bukkake dirtbike thread, do you?
the bukkake dirtbike thread was one of the best things i've ever read on the internet
Nimrod's Son 03-30-2006, 12:34 PM the cool kids in highschool went on the band trip
Something doesn't sound quite right here....
Nimrod's Son 03-30-2006, 12:37 PM I find this thing frustratingly amusing. We get trolled, and then threatened not to do anything back, and 3 days later, still have had 15-20 people on all morning and afternoon.
: D
bornentertainer 03-30-2006, 01:11 PM Something doesn't sound quite right here....
I'll neg rep you for this, sucka!

we didn't have any sports so band was as close as it got to cool.
Axis of Action 03-30-2006, 03:53 PM we didn't have any sports so band was as close as it got to cool.
we had sports but we were pretty bad at them.
but we also had a large percent of the "cool" kids in band. which was whack. the image of the band geek wasn't very true at my school - literally 70% of the cool people were in band.
alisonmonster 03-30-2006, 03:56 PM yeah, us too though the drama kids and music kids were basically the same thing. They had a hall of lockers dedicated to them. I sort of wished there were football games since i've never been to or seen one- i've never known a highschool around here to have football.

whereabouts do you live, if i may ask?
alisonmonster 03-30-2006, 04:36 PM im from southwestern ontario. they probably have football in a highschool somewhere closer to toronto but i don't think its very common- i know our school didn't have any contact sports because of insurance reasons. There were some rugby teams though.
Nimrod's Son 03-30-2006, 06:37 PM I'll neg rep you for this, sucka!
what kind of crazy schools did you guys go to
even if they didn't have sports the "cool kids" are too cool and have too much going on to participate in extracurriculars
that said i didn't hate band people (or "band fags" as the guys were usually referred). i dated a couple of band chicks. having dated both cheerleaders and band chicks, i can tell you that the band chicks were more fun, and uh, better at a lot of things

Band at my school was a pretty good mix of people--popular a-holes, nerds, normal fuckers...I liked band. We went on rad trips.
