One-man operation is growing and can't keep up with the incoming
orders and inventory organization -- I need a part-timer (with
potential for full-time in the near future) with good reading
and writing skills and who can count accurately.

We sell (small) electronic parts so no heavy lifting is
required.

This is a permanent position with lots of room for growth.

Hours are Noon to 4PM Monday-Friday.
Starting pay is $10/hour.

NOTE: I smoke cigarettes -- if this is a problem please
do not contact me.

noon to four pm rocks. and 20 hours a week at 10 an hour is pretty decent pay. on my way there this afternoon, i was praying this guy wasn't some gun totin' redneck that was going to refuse employment on the basis of my long hair or whatever. and the drive out to edgewater would have been a waste.

so i step inside and there's a phish poster on the wall, and next to it was another poster with fractal designs on it, and next to that poster was one of those posters with a quick chord fingering reference. and the guy had long white hair tied back in a ponytail. he was very understanding of the fact that i'm in a gigging band.

there was also a bar next door that advertised 250 microbrews.

this is a disjointed and not very interesting story. there's no punchline, but i thought it was cool. i might finally get a job. a cool job at that.

I had lived in Orlando from age 10 until I went to UF. When I was 17, my parents had been divorced for 2 years and I hadn't seen my dad for most of that time. We reunited and I went to his apartment on North OBT and it was like a whole world I had never visited before.

I just realized how unfascinating this whole post is.

no man, i completely feel you. most of central florida's roads look the same. but that general area for some reason has a totally different aura about it. i think it has a lot to do with the pine trees and evergreens in the area that give it a much more northern feel, without all the mountains.

I think there may be an actual hill there too.
