a customer of mine is going to hook me up with a flower arrangement for her and then next friday (since we both are busy on the 14th) i think i'm going to either take her out to the melting pot or cook for her...it all depends on my financial status that week. If you make it right, that's a great idea. Meaning don't just buy pasta and bottled sauce.

You should check out foodnetwork.com (I think that's it). They have tons of easy recipes.

F the spaghetti dude. Make this instead

Baked Ziti

¾ lb of pasta (ziti or ziti rigati)
1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce (we like Barilla, 5 Brothers, or Classico – tomato basil varieties)
1 8 oz (2 c) package of shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
1 box frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 small container part skim ricotta
1 egg
nutmeg, to taste

Boil pasta according to package directions and set aside.

Mix spinach, ricotta, egg, nutmeg, and 1 generous handful of shredded cheese in a bowl.
Pour enough sauce in the bottom of a 9 inch square pan to cover. Put a layer of pasta, then a layer of ricotta cheese, a sprinkle of cheese, and cover with more sauce. Repeat this until all ingredients are gone, finishing with a layer of pasta, sauce, and then shredded cheese.

Bake in an oven at 350º until bubbly.

Serves 6-8?
