Broken Boy Soldiers is horrible... and I'm a pretty big White Stripes fan. I was expecting this to suck for some reason though.

I strongly disagree. The guitar playing is more subdued, the lyrics are worse (which is saying a lot), and the songs don't have the typical rise and fall of most White Stripes' songs. They're just sort of steady throughout and anticlimactic, and to me, much more boring. Not to mention the drumming sounds equally as simplistic as Meg's.

I just got the album today-The song "Broken Boy Soldier" is really good.....The album sounds nothing like the single, thankfully.
