Nothing/everything 01-31-2006, 03:21 PM i pulled their EP from oink tonight, everyone was going batshit on this. I'm not impressed daydreamer999 01-31-2006, 07:05 PM downloading the single from indietorrents now bet it's going to suck Fonzie 01-31-2006, 07:14 PM downloading the single from indietorrents now bet it's going to suck dude were you on lemington road last night with a real groovy bag? danondorf 01-31-2006, 11:44 PM the song Steady As She Goes is pretty ho-hum. Store Bought Bones rocks though Quiet 05-15-2006, 08:30 AM Broken Boy Soldiers is horrible... and I'm a pretty big White Stripes fan. I was expecting this to suck for some reason though. Nimrod's Son 05-15-2006, 08:37 AM It's the Stripes with better drumming Quiet 05-15-2006, 08:56 AM It's the Stripes with better drumming I strongly disagree. The guitar playing is more subdued, the lyrics are worse (which is saying a lot), and the songs don't have the typical rise and fall of most White Stripes' songs. They're just sort of steady throughout and anticlimactic, and to me, much more boring. Not to mention the drumming sounds equally as simplistic as Meg's. Argh 05-15-2006, 03:36 PM jack stripe and a bunch of nobodies who are all awful at their instruments and claim they only play bad to fit the themes of their music :noway: danondorf 05-16-2006, 07:24 PM I just got the album today-The song "Broken Boy Soldier" is really good.....The album sounds nothing like the single, thankfully. |
