from someone who has seen them, preferrably.

i can totally afford this and the unlimited sunshine tour, it's just...i want to know if it's worth the lines and the parking and the b.s.

just a tour.

when i went in 2002 it was cake, flaming lips, de la soul, kinky and modest mouse

this year it's decidedly less cool, but it has cake, tegan and sara, gogol bordello and someone else. i'm going for cake, like i did in 2002.

Yes. Go.

We're going to try to get tickets to a show to see them again in Indy on a work night.

Edit: and they're $35.

It really depends on venue. First time I saw them I was sitting on a bench right above the band (to their left) in a converted old church, that was amazing.

Going from that to seeing them standing half way back in a 2500 capacity venue just made the second gig awful, but friends of mine were seeing them for the first time at that gig and thought it was amazing.
