basically, what i would like to do is take an audio sample, convert it to a spectrograph, and cut and paste what i need and don't need. i believe RDJ did something like this at the end of A Mathematical Equation. I think I heard somewhere about there being a VST plugin available for this, but I could be mistaken.

Or if you can suggest an easier way to go about it, please share.
