Don't all the poms squeal over the Checks?

I'd suggest The Checks and Goldenhorse. Maybe Fat Freddy's Drop now they've won some big-ass british award.

the checks are boring, but at least they're not the datsuns

my friends' band gestalt switch (www.gestaltswitch.co.nz) got a sxsw invite but they may be too poor to attend

They're playing the Big Day Out? I'll try and check them out.

Anyway, I'm sure you could help them get to SXSW. How about holding a sausage sizzle or a meat raffle?

Luke de Spa
