I hadn't listened to this in a long time. it sounds so much better than anything that's popular nowadays. I don't want to listen to Guero now, because I think it'll spoil things. not that I think Guero is all that bad (it's solid), but Odelay is just genious. Jack-ass is one of my favorite songs ever, like top 5 maybe.

it's a really good album

it's week points, imo, are "derelict" and "where it's at" and those two songs are still really good, if not great

i think the weak point is the two minute outro of novocane. that song is so killer and then you think it ends and the outro is so stupid.

i never liked rock the catskills either.

Odelay is a classic any way you cut it. The entire thing just kicks too much ass.
