10 tornado sightings in eastern kansas today

i have a bowed line of storms with 60 mph straightline gusts headed here in about 20 minutes

That is probably the only one thing I would like about living in Kansas.

I was stuck outside during a tornado once, that was pretty shitty.

that was pretty awesome. there was like a line of rolling clouds with the huge wind front behind it. i'll see if i can up these pictures.

yeah, you can see the front in that picture. it was pretty dark even though it was 4 p.m. so the pics didn't turn out too great.

you could hear the rumbling of the wind coming for 5 minutes as it got closer. it sounded like a plane. then after that last picture the wind and rain hit and that was that.

and to think, a few dozen miles west of you will be covered in half a foot of snow by the end of the night.
