Ensoul 11-19-2005, 11:41 PM 'The Sadness' is one of the best songs of the year. fucking great. I'll give the rest a bit more time though. DeadSwan 11-19-2005, 11:55 PM yeah, it's got that mexican sauciness Rockin' Cherub 11-20-2005, 07:44 AM this hasn't even been released. you fucking criminals. I'd have to totally agree... he's all quantity with very little quality. Who cares if you release 3 albums a year if they're all boring? You'd be much better off listening to his way more talented contemporaries Sufjan Stevens, M.Ward, Bright Eyes, Devendra Banhard, ext. Rockin' Cherub 11-23-2005, 01:56 PM conor oberst isn't more talented than ryan adams. but at least he doesn't put out tons and tons of average material. ryan adams used to be alright though so i don't think it's a question of talent. The Gaddrow 11-23-2005, 02:08 PM I really, really like 29. More so than either Jacksonville City Nights or Cold Roses. I would hesitate to call it better, however. dean moriaty 11-23-2005, 02:12 PM Originally posted by zbeast78 i read an interview with Frank Black where he takes a jab at Ryan Adams, basically calling him out as a mediocre songwriter. I haven't heard the new album yet but I saw a picture of him recently and it looked like he slept in a drainpipe. That's pretty much all I can contribute at this point. neopryn 11-23-2005, 04:31 PM yeah he's really got a hell of a beard going. |
