View Full Version : Smashing Pumkins Tour names???
davin 10-28-2005, 03:58 PM ok, so in 1993 it was Rock Invasion...1994 was Lollapallooza....1995-1996 was The Infinite Sadness Tour, 1999 was The Arising! followed by Sacred & Profane leading into 2000.
What about the rest? What timeframe was Resume the Pose? Wht timeframe was Blissed and Gone? What else was there?
Resume The Pose was January 31 to March 12, 2000. small club shows and in-stores with signings. you might ******* the European shows in January, since they played mostly the same material, but i wouldn't advise it.
i've never heard of a "Blissed and Gone tour".
i think you pretty much covered all the tours that had interesting names.
although, since you mentioned Lollapalooza, i guess you might want mention of other festival tours. Big Day Out in '94, Summersault in 2000. um.

There was a mini tour around early 93, the Bust A Move tour. Small record shops and stuff.

marrs-guitar 10-29-2005, 07:53 AM although not really the band's title, these dates in 1998 were as part of the "Horizons of Rock Developing East Coast" (HORDE) Tour:
july 14 bonner springs
july 15 oklahoma
july 16 oklahoma

nope -- rock invasion ran from late July 1993 through December 1993.
Lollapalooza didn't start until summer of 1994.

Actually, i think that was just something they put on their tickets to indicate no opening band.
I have seen it before, during some of the december '99 metro shows (the bring a can of food for a signed xmas card shows).
According to my tour shirt, the Adore tour was "The Smashing Pumpkins Adore World Tour".
