I figure there's enough Stars and Oilers fans on this board - plus the rivalry between the two teams - that this game deserves it's own thread.

Turco is getting the night off and that is a major cause for concern.

I still see the Stars pulling this one off 4-3. They finally got some scoring on the job last night (2 out of 6 on the PP). And the defense - especially boucher and trevor daley - played light's out.

He gave him a pretty good shiner but I would call the fight a draw or slight advantage to Phanuff. I was impressed.

Is Ryan Smyth still injured? He's on my fantasy team, along with Horcoff and both Edmonton goalies.

On the other hand, so is Arnott and Guerin. I hope for a high scoring game, won by Edmonton.

big game for the Pens tonight against the cross-state archrival Flyers. both teams have fallen short of expectations so far, but I see the Pens finally taking an OT game after losing three in a row.

I hate the Oilers.

The Stars are my favorite hockey team.

I hate the Penguins (but love the logo).

The Flyers are my second-favorite hockey team.

I hope both Dallas and Philly win by 9.

I probably like them more than the Flyers, but I actually get the chance to go to several Flyer games, so I sorta have to follow them more.

that's cool. it's a pretty intense rivalry though, so you'll probably end up hating them if your allegiance lies with the flyers.

I'm glad to see the Leafs score 9 goals tonight, they'll get it all out of their system before facing the habs tomorrow night.

we'll see what happens in the comming years when the oilers don't have a payroll that's half that of the Stars.

Oh, and we're still winning 5-1 in the only standing that really matters.
