LittleWing 09-26-2005, 07:27 PM weezer - only in dreams Mooney 09-26-2005, 07:30 PM mayonaise, i guess. 2Marlon2Brando 09-26-2005, 08:07 PM a girl asked me that once and i thought it was a pretty weird question. maybe i just havent found the perfect song, but there is no single song that is always my favorite, it changes any given day. i guess nothing covers all the bases 2Marlon2Brando 09-26-2005, 08:07 PM but i lied and told her these arms of mine and then we made out TuralyonW3 09-26-2005, 11:57 PM Originally posted by Mooney mayonaise, i guess. I never understood how people could like that better than any other pumpkins song. Shapan 09-27-2005, 04:56 AM mayonaise has never been one of my favorite pumpkins songs. only in dreams is an awesome song, great bassline. too hard, but maybe something by radiohead like paranoid android or just, something by either nirvana, radiohead, or zeppelin with the most parts. since ive been loving you is a good candidate too. i could never go with just one song though. ChristHimself! 09-27-2005, 06:16 AM I've not posted this or listened to it in AGES. But if I had to choose a song that I absolutely adore, it would still probably be Porcelina. severin 09-27-2005, 06:53 AM there is no such thing as the favourite song. schaadow 09-27-2005, 12:17 PM The Afghan Whigs - Bulletproof Rockin' Cherub 09-27-2005, 12:31 PM Originally posted by schaadow The Afghan Whigs - Bulletproof how can you prefer this to crime scene part one schaadow 09-27-2005, 12:54 PM Originally posted by Rockin' Cherub how can you prefer this to crime scene part one I'm sorry I thought it was asking for MY favorite song. I guess now I can ask you, how can you prefer Crime Scene Part One to Faded, or to Gentlemen. The Whigs have alot of quality songs, Bulletproof just happens to be my favorite today, so my answer to you; because it's a great fucking song. Rockin' Cherub 09-27-2005, 01:27 PM Originally posted by schaadow how can you prefer Crime Scene Part One to Faded they are both equal. on a related note, why are you being such an anus? schaadow 09-27-2005, 02:13 PM Originally posted by Rockin' Cherub on a related note, why are you being such an anus? because I don't need some fucker telling me what my favorite song should be. In reality there's probably a lot Whigs songs that are better than Bulletproof, but it's still my favorite. pine trees 09-27-2005, 02:22 PM hey schadow do you listen to anything besides early 90s indie rock? what are you like 35? schaadow 09-27-2005, 02:34 PM Actually I'm 23. What gives you the impression I only like 90's indie rock? I've only really spoken at an extent about the Whigs. mirrar 09-27-2005, 02:37 PM lately, it's been born slippy. all time = life like weeds. Krazee's Ghost 09-27-2005, 02:45 PM If I had to pick just one it would be Burn One Down by Ben Harper schaadow 09-27-2005, 02:50 PM Originally posted by Rockin' Cherub i asked you a question. well all apologies but I sensed a smug air of superiority in your post, like only an idiot would choose that over this (and this isn't the first time, you once before questioned my choosing Loaded over other VU albums). And my answer to your question is really simple, because I enjoy Bulletproof more. Ensoul 09-27-2005, 03:22 PM the smiths - i know it's over pulp - razzmatazz i dunno. too hard. schaadow 09-27-2005, 03:44 PM Originally posted by Rockin' Cherub ha. well i just wanted to know what makes you like it more. alright. I dont think Crime Scene is really a song that can stand alone, it's more of an intro to the album (you need my enemy after to make it complete). I can't really put into words why i like bulletproof so much, but I can say it has one of Dulli's best lines , "To tell the truth, to tell it well, it all depends upon the liar." Oranjes 09-27-2005, 04:08 PM i guess, the world at large by Modest Mouse when i first heard that song, it just fit my state of mind so perfectly.. *goosebumps* pine trees 09-27-2005, 04:49 PM Originally posted by schaadow Actually I'm 23.
