what was up with that

i'm finally pronouncing sufjan's name correctly. (soof-yan). i've been saying it wrong in my head forever. thank god i don't have many friends i can speak to in person about music so only one person has heard me say his name wrong a couple of times.

in other news, i'm also pronouncing sigur ros (see-your-rose) correctly after a few years of pronouncing it incorrectly.

this is while i was trying to special order that one cd he has with the titles of the songs corresponding to the chinese zodiac or whatever, and the clerk dude asked me what label he was on to which i replied 'either asthmatic kitty or sounds familyre' because im fucking right and i know the answer to that question. then she chimed in and told me i was wrong because he's like on three different labels or someshit and in so many words told me i was a dumbass.

so i left.

i think she was on her period.
