...But there were many tangents, conspiracy theories and such that were part of this project. Lots of activity on the official board in 2000-2001, when fans were trying to figure it all out. I used to think the conspiracy theories were all just dumb and annoying ... couldn't imagine how anyone would believe that the new work of some other band (Marilyn Manson was an example) was formally in cahoots with the Machina Mystery. But I think it would be interesting in retrospect to revisit the "A PERFECT CIRCLE IS PART OF THE MACHINA MYSTERY" thread :) :erm
