I haven't listened to Loveless in almost 3 years seeing how I didn't have my own copy till Monday. So Tuesday morning at work I was rocking it and the keyboard(i think it's a keyboard sound) at the begining of the song kicked in I recognized the sound from something I watched recently. Cause I know it wasn't the radio. The radio isn't cool enough to play My Bloody Valentine. Hell I bet I am the only person in Michigan who has ever heard of them. Anybody know any movies this was featured in? Even if it was the instruments? Maybe it was Donnie Darko. Is that on there?

MBV arent exactly an underground band, you shouldnt feel very elite to be a fan of theirs.

Well I only know like two people that might possibly know of them. They are twin brothers that I work with. They may or may not know of them. Then again they listen to a lot of stuff. I should ask them. They turned me onto Sonic Youth, Radiohead, and a few other bands.

i've never met anyone in real life who knew them. might be because i'm 16.

i didn't do that a year ago. it makes it easier for people to judge me.

but really, if people around me were like 30 the chance of them knowing my bloody valentine would be much higher.

i've only met a few (besides friends, of course), and that was at the Interpol show...one of the HAWTEST girls i've ever seen in an MBV shirt, with her complete dork bonehead boyfriend

I think that's just some post-MBV Kevin Shields tomfoolery.
