Wow, what a great concert. Billy and crew sure were tight. I don't have a setlist, but they played most of the new songs off the Future Embrace, and a few others, including Long Way To The Top by ACDC.

Billy talked about a few things during the show. He joked that Brisbane was better than Melbourne because the girls were prettier. He said that all we did up here was sit around on the beach all day... the crowd cheered, even though I think he was having a dig at us. Someone asked Billy for a wave, and he gave us the bird telling us it was the American wave cause that's what America is doing to the rest of the world at the moment. He said that the reason he hasn't been to Australia for so long was that he was stung by a jellyfish (jokingly). He also said that he loved it that we had the greatest cricket team in the world, and he loved it that we didn't just win against England, but we Obliterated them. He teased the audience by playing the Today intro once during one of his enchore songs (not an album track). He said that this tour was a test to see if he should bring his band back here. After like a minute of cheering he then quipped "and the answer is no". He then said to remember this smiling happy billy because next time he will be playing "evil heavy metal music". Billy also made some jokes about how he walked off in Melbourne. He pretended to slam down the mic a couple of times saying "this sucks" and stuff like that. The crowd was in hysterics.

Overall the concert was great and Billy seemed to be having a fantastic fun time, even though he did seem a bit tired and worn out from the tour.

After the concert me and my sister waited around the loading area for him to come out, and when we spotted him we raced over and said hi. I was like "thanks for a great concert Billy" and he replied "thanks man". Then my sister asked if she could hug him, and he said "I'm sick" and then gave her a hug. Someone snapped a picture at that moment (If you were this person could you PLEASE email me the highest res version of this photo... pm me to get my email). By this stage Billy seemed really worn out and not 100%, but he was still really nice to everyone. He hopped in his van with Linda and Matt and drove off. Someone jokingly yelled out "follow that van".

The End.

He was in a really good mood and was making constant jokes the whole night. Even the actions in one of his songs were comical and he had to suppress his laughter as he did them.

The Today riff was right in the middle of one of his enchore songs, and it happened only once, just quickly enough so people didn't realise it had happened until it had happened.

Great, great show. Shame it's probably as close as I'll get to actually seeing the Pumpkins. The song you're talking about was "King Bee" by James Brown.

Some guy standing next to me got busted and very nearly beaten up for, I presume, attempting to tape the show. Silly, silly. I got a 1 minute video of the first song they played (which I didn't recognise) on my vidphone, but the quality is bloody awful. If there's interest, I'll up it.
