just to let people know who didn't read the melbourne report, billy announced tonight that they will be doing a special one off acoustic show on the 28th. he didn't say where, though.

he thought it'd be good that we got the heads up about it... obviously so we could all book flights and go. :/

Are they doing an acoustic show for the reason they don't have the ********** lighting etc? Why couldn't he forget it at every show

Is Matt Walker going to be playing real drums? Is Linda going to play piano? Is Brian going to play a slide rule?

I am skeptical. There's a big chance he was bullshitting.

Is there a chance this could be the start of the new pumpkins?

and therefore not as far away as we were expecting

just speculating

I dont usually post here, just read these forums occasionally. I just got back from the Sydney gig and Billy talked up the acoustic gig tommorrow night and I quote (not 100% accurate)

"Who am I to promise anything, but you can expect some musical surprises tommorrow night".

take that as you will, i sure as hell will be there...

I reckon whoever goes can expect to hear disarm.

Seeing as it takes a whole day to get to Australia from here, it looks like I wont be seeing this :(

of course the "surprises" might not be what our oh-so-wishful-thinking-minds are hoping for.

If no one tapes this I will fly to Australia looking to kick some ass and take some names.

You Aussies owe the world this favor after unleashing Steve Irwin upon us.

Is there a good message board for tapers? We should really try to find a taper for this one.

If my MD player worked I could tape it. I'm still trying to find out if it's all ages, but it doesn't look good.

I might be able to borrow a friend's recording device (iPod microphone, I don't know how good the quality is), but at this point I can't really say anything for sure.
