She keeps calling me to say things like, "I'm getting you contact solution" without possibly being able to know that I'm running low. And I talked to my dad tonight as well. We had a debate over whether you're supposed to say "I love you, bye" or "Bye, I love you." Because I always hang up on him when he's saying it. :D They rock. ammy 07-23-2005, 12:39 AM parents that rock, rock. tootsie 07-23-2005, 12:41 AM my parents are frustrating. wHATcOLOR 07-23-2005, 12:42 AM on the drive home from work i called mine to say hi and ask some advice on my job situation and my bother told me they were out partying assholes! sppunk 07-23-2005, 12:51 AM I talked to Jerome's parents at a party tonight. FearFactory 07-23-2005, 04:46 PM Yeah, plus Ammy's mom is totally hot! I was supposed to go see mine, but I'm too fucking tired. Maybe tomorrow. Sepiae 07-23-2005, 05:00 PM I just called my mom again because I put something in the microwave that was not supposed to be there, and I needed her to tell me the fumes wouldn't kill me. Then we got into a long talk about me going to Dallas in December for a job fair and general career stuff, and I read her a job description of something with the Bruins that would fit me perfectly. I read all these job requirements to her and she's silent and then finally goes: "So 'knows not to put aluminum in the microwave' isn't one of them." alisonmonster 07-23-2005, 06:05 PM hey, thanks for reminding me, i have to call my mom today, im going to see how her cancer treatments are going (and yeah, its not like cancer treatments ever go particularily well, but i hope she still feels/looks okay). On the phone i dont have to say a word- my mother fills up any silence with her talking- on and on and fucking ON. She used to have daily hour conversations with her mother, so i think its passing on to me now. My b/f says we sound alike when we talk, which drives me nuts. 2Marlon2Brando 07-23-2005, 06:06 PM why do you try and talk like your mom ammy 07-23-2005, 06:13 PM my mom, my sister and i all sound alike on the phone. we also have the same laughs, apparently. it used to really freak out my sister's boyfriend. we're also psychic. it's fun. more than once i've picked up the phone to call my mom and she's already on the line, she's done the same thing. it's funny. alisonmonster 07-23-2005, 06:25 PM Originally posted by 2Marlon2Brando why do you try and talk like your mom its unintentional i just got off the phone with her- she probably said the same things 3 times each. It makes for a long, boring conversation, but ,hey, its my mom- its the least i can do to listen. I think shes lonely. murgle 07-24-2005, 12:05 AM My mom called me the other night at like midnight (I was asleep), crying, all depressed... asking if I'd miss her if she was gone and all of that. So I got dressed to head down to Dallas, then called my dad. He called me back and said that she'd just had a bad day and had a bit much to drink, and went to bed. I called her the next day when my biopsy results came in. I haven't talked to her much since then :erm murgle 07-24-2005, 12:13 AM My mom called me the other night at like midnight (I was asleep), crying, all depressed... asking if I'd miss her if she was gone and all of that.
