completely worth it. the music alone makes it good.

with all the junk that keeps falling off nbc, it's funny to think they could possibly still have a great show....

glad fans of that show were rabid. i can reap the rewards.

the intro rocks

i watched it a couple times, it was decent.
although i don't quite understand its current cult obsession/following.

i get why it's so popular/cult

personally, each episode has something that makes me laugh out loud.

did you see it when it was on nbc?

Neal Schweiber: The dance is tomorrow. She's a cheerleader. You've seen Star Wars 47 times. You do the math.

Mr. Weir: Elvis didn't expectorate on his fans.
Sam: No. But he died on the toilet.
Mr. Weir: Well, that's paradise compared to where the Sex Pistols are gonna end up.

Bill is passed out drunk on the floor
Lindsay: Hey, Bill. Get up. That's how the drummer from Led Zeppelin died.

Daniel: Hey, knock it off, Blondie. You're gonna blow the speakers.
Kim: Oh I'm sorry, Grandpa. I'll try not to blow anything of yours anytime soon.

freaks and geeks kicks ass, i was sad because like the 4th episode i saw was the last one with that kid joining the D&D nerds and having a good time and the chick going to see the dead. i was hoping there was another show after it, but my friend told me the series was cancelled.

i was pissed.

i really would love to see this show,it seems like my kind of thing. I love the whole awkward teen type shows. i love watching old My So Called Life episodes, is it anything like that or no? (makes mental notes)

yeah, it's like that, or at least, it's the closest thing i'd compare it to.

i don't really buy dvds, but i got a disc on netflix and couldn't wait to see the rest, so i bought the series and have never regretted the purchase.

personally, i like f&g more, because it has an excellent soundtrack (for the time). when you see some of the episodes for the first time, it's almost painful to see how crappy things are in high school, and it doesn't end in a rosy "moral of the story" way.
